An Introduction to Hypnosis

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Join Terri to learn about hypnosis as a tool to activate your subconscious mind to work on your behalf. Whether you are looking to change behavior, shift your attitude or reach for a goal, hypnosis can be an effective tool to achieve your desired result. Participants will experience a hypnosis session during the workshop.

Exploring Your Intuition

Whether you refer to it as a gut reaction, instinct, foresight or a knowing, everyone has the gift of intuition. You will learn about the “Clair Senses” that are types of intuitive abilities that correspond with the five senses of seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, and tasting and get a chance to explore your own personal gift of intuition. This session will include meditations, fun games and the opportunity to learn about or confirm your own intuitive gifts.

Self Compassion and Gratitude

When we criticize ourselves, we are tapping into the body’s threat-response-system (fight or flight). Feeling threatened puts stress on the mind and body and chronic stress can cause anxiety and depression. At this retreat, you will explore the practice of self-compassion including self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness.  You will learn to utilize practices such as meditation, gratitude, and balanced awareness to cultivate compassion and fully embrace the unique person you are.

All too often, we only think of boundaries when they are being violated. Boundaries are essential for a healthy life. They tell you where you end and others begin. In this workshop you will learn how to create and maintain healthy boundaries for your own stress management and self care.

Communicating Clearly and Effectively in Conflict

Conflict is an inevitable part of life and can be an important growth opportunity for you and your team. Using Killman’s Model of Conflict, a simple tool designed by two psychologists, we will help your team identify and understand their own conflict management styles to enable them to approach conflict with curiosity rather than avoidance or fear.
